Give your brain a workout with this classic word game. It's been around a long time for a reason!
The goal of this game is to see who can find the most words from the random letter grid in a given time. The letters you use to make up a word must be touching vertically, horizontally, or diagonally in a chain. You can't skip or "jump" across letters and you cannot use the same letter twice in the same word. Words must have 3 or more letters to count.
This is a GREAT small group game, divide your group up and let the teams compete. You can also bring people upfront and have them compete, or make it an all-play and have students write their words down on their phones. Have the top people text in their lists.
Play it easy and simply see who can find the most words or use the points system for more specific game. More specific instructions are included in the file for hardcore game players.
